Found this gem scrounging through some old college docs of mine…
by Dylan McShain
My boot is dark while I am light,
It has seen better days.
While shower keeps me very clean,
My boot is gross in waves.
Its dirty, funky, oh so old.
While I am young and nice I’m told.
If ’twas a man it would be grumpy,
Tired, worn and much too frumpy.
Like south and north, they do attract,
Like boot and me, do too in fact.
I’ll wear these boots ’til holes do show,
Then be so sad to see them go.
